Local Victories: Lessons And Opportunities For Environmental Justice (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM)

Hear Claire Glenn, a Root Tilden Kern scholar at the New York University School of Law, and a 2014 recipient of the Guarini Center on Environmental and Land Use Law Summer Fellowship for her legal internship at the Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment, tell about the trials in Carlifornia's Central Valley.  These are issues that affect our entire country – the Central Valley produces over half of the fruit, vegetables, and nuts consumed nationwide.
