For Immediate Release

The Friends of the Fox River announce:

  • Fox Rescue River Clean Ups
  • Saturday, May 15th
  • 9:00 – 12:00

Each year the Friends of the Fox River host Fox Rescue River Clean-Ups at various locations in the watershed. The events entail removing trash and debris from the banks and snags on the Fox River and its tributaries.

Various groups co-sponsor these events with us, look to see if we have one booked in your town. Gloves, bags and other equipment are provided through a generous grant program through the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Please join us at one of the locations as we “keep on fixin' the fox.”
